SparX Foods founder and president Richard Saslaw has been baking since he was eleven. He acquired his culinary skills and homemade recipes from his mother, and his business and marketing skills from his father, who managed some of the world's premier brands during more than 40 years at General Foods.

Richard began at an early age to develop his personal cooking style and recipes, which continue to evolve today. His more practical side led him to an MBA and a successful career in corporate finance with such prestige brands as Bristol-Myers, Revlon, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton.

After rising to the level of CFO and managing companies as large as $200 million, Richard was ready to pursue a higher calling: bringing the world its first full line of spicy baked goods, beginning with SparX Spicy Cookies. The rest is history waiting to happen!
